If you are on Vodafone Traveller, outbound calls are charged at your standard home rate plus the zone rate per minute
If you are on the standard plan, roaming charges are dependent on the overseas network. Check individual country costs.
In some countries, you'll be charged from the time you press send or call, while in others, you're charged from the moment of actual connection like you are in New Zealand. Some networks also charge for calls to Customer Services, Directory Assistance, emergency numbers, 0800 toll-free type calls and other special numbers.
$1.00 per minute when roaming

Data, PXT and Video Calls are charged dependent on the overseas network. Data roaming with Vodafone costs far less than other networks, but if your laptop decides to download the latest Microsoft security update while it's in your hotel room, you can come home to quite a big surprise. Calls you make while overseas are not subject to GST. All costs shown on our website are per minute rates in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), based on the current exchange rate.
