Vodafone is committed to the health and safety of our employees, customers and the public. We recognise that some people are concerned about the possible health effects of mobile technology and we are committed to addressing these concerns.
Our mobile communications technology works by transmitting and receiving radio signals using radio frequency (RF) waves. These are the same type of waves produced by radios, TV and remote controls.
Research into the possible health effects of radio frequency (RF) fields and mobile technology has been going on for many decades.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) says "Based on independent scientific review there is no evidence of an impact on human health when exposure to RF is below internationally recognised guidelines". All mobiles sold by Vodafone and cellsites comply with these international guidelines.
