Why Endless Data?
We know how important data is to life these days, it is how we get inspired, get in contact and get from A to B. At Vodafone New Zealand, we’ve redesigned our mobile plans to make sure you no longer have to worry about running out of data or carry over, you can just carry on.
Instead of picking a plan based on how much data you need, you pick a plan on how much data you need at Max Speed. Once you exceed your Max Speed Data you then get Endless Data at reduced speeds.
What can I do with my Endless Data at reduced speeds?
Once you exceed your Max Speed Data allowance you can continue to enjoy Endless Data at a maximum speed of 1.2Mbps.
With Endless Data at reduced speeds you can continue to do all the things you love like listening to music, keeping up on social media or streaming video (in max SD quality only). You may not be able to use multiple applications at the same time.
Once you start using your Endless Data you will notice a difference in speed with increased load time, particularly when watching video or viewing images in high resolution. The actual speeds will vary depending on device, location, network coverage and network congestion.
What is Max Speed Data?
Max Speed Data refers to data that is delivered at the maximum speed available on the Vodafone network. The speed experienced is dependent on your location and the device you are using.
Once you have exceeded your Max Speed Data allowance, your speed will be reduced to a maximum speed of 1.2Mbps.
What Pay Monthly plan is right for me?
We have designed our new Pay Monthly plans to suit all Kiwis, with four options based on how much data you want to enjoy at the maximum speed available on the Vodafone network:
Small Mobile: 4GB Max Speed Data
Medium Mobile: 12GB Max Speed Data
Large Mobile: 40GB Max Speed Data
Extra Large Mobile: 100GB Max Speed Data
To give you an idea of which plan might be best fit for you, streaming Netflix for an hour would use about 1GB in Standard Definition (SD) and up to 3GB in High Definition (HD).
The great news is that all our new plans are open term, so you can change your plan (once a month) in the My Vodafone app, if your needs change.
How will I know when I have exceeded my Max Speed Data allowance?
You will be sent a text notification at 80% and then again at 100% to let you know that you have exceeded your Max Speed Data limit, and that you will still get Endless Data at reduced speeds.

What should I do if I keep on exceeding my Max Speed Data allowance?
If you continue to exceed your Max Speed Data allowance then it might be time to upgrade your plan.
The great news is that all of our plans are open term, allowing you to change your plan to suit your needs once a month.
Alternatively you can buy a one off Max Speed Data Boost to tide you over until your plan renews which you can buy directly from the My Vodafone app.
What if I want to share my data with someone else?
Instead of sharing, you can purchase more than one of our Endless Data plans giving everyone in your family their own plan with Max Speed Data and Endless Data after, plus Unlimited calling to standard NZ and Oz numbers.
Our Red share plans are still available, which work out to:
• $39.99 per person a month for two Red+ Lite plans, sharing 10GB
• $49.99 per person a month for two Red+ plans, sharing 40GB.
Can I enjoy 5G on your Pay Monthly plans?
Yes absolutely, all of our new Pay Monthly plans are 5G ready.
To enjoy 5G you will also need a 5G phone from Vodafone and be in a 5G coverage area. 5G is live in parts of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown, and we will continue to roll out 5G to more New Zealanders, so keep an eye out on the coverage map.
You can also go 5G on us until 30 June 2021. Then, from 1 July 2021, just grab a $10 monthly Add-On.

How can I sign up?
Signing up is easy. Just call 0800 777 301, talk to us on our online chat, or head to your nearest Vodafone store and one of our team will help you. This offer is not available through our online store.
How do I get 50% off an additional plan?
If you buy a $60 Medium, $80 Large or $100 Extra Large Plan at full price, you can add up to four additional plans at half price, to the same billing account. All plans must be of equal value.
For Example:
- If you sign up two identical plans (i.e. two $80 Large plans) under the same billing account, one connection will be full price (i.e. $80), and the other will receive a 50% discount (i.e. $40) for the life of the plan.
Who pays for all the plans?
The Account Holder will receive one bill at the end of their billing cycle. They will be responsible for payment of all plans, as well as additional costs incurred by any connection.
How long does the discount last?
The 50% discount is for the life of the plan. However, any changes to the plan outside of the promotional period will result in the discount dropping off. This would include, but not be limited to, changing your plan, signing up to another promotion, or adding an Interest Free Payment to your plan.
I’m an existing customer, can I get this offer?

If I don’t like the Endless Data plan, can I go back?
Our Endless Data plans are open term, so you can change your plan whenever you’d like. However, this will cause any discounts to drop off your plan, and you may not be able to return to your old plan if we no longer offer it.
Will my other plans be sharing my data?
No, each plan will get its own data, Talk & TXT allocation.
