  1. How do I redeem my NEON promo code?

To redeem your unique promo code, go to http://www.neontv.co.nz and click “sign up now”. You will be requested to enter your promo code during the sign up process. If you already have a NEON account, please refer no. 3 below.

  1. How much data will NEON use?

This will change based on the quality of your internet connection it’s a good idea to check with your internet provider about any data overage charges you may have to pay. It varies from 338 MB per hour (lowest quality) up to 2.75 GB per hour (HD1080 quality) video stream. Make sure you have the My Vodafone app on your phone to keep track of your data usage.

If you’re watching NEON on the iOS or Android app you can use the bitrate selector to choose the maximum streaming quality.

  1. Can I use a NEON promo code with an existing NEON account?

Existing customers not currently on a promotion:
If you’re an existing NEON customer, you’ll need to cancel your account and wait for it to expire before you can enter your Vodafone promotion code.

Existing customers pending cancellation:
If you are an existing NEON customer pending cancellation (i.e. you have requested to cancel your NEON subscription but you are still within the 30 day cancellation period.) you will need to wait until your account is fully cancelled. Then simply add the promo code when you renew your account on the My Account page.

Existing customers currently using a promo code:
If you are an existing customer currently using a promo code you will not be eligible until your current promo code has expired.  You’ll need to cancel your account and wait for it to expire before you can enter your Vodafone promotion code when you renew your account on the My Account page.

  1. I’m have trouble while trying to redeem my NEON promo code?

  1. What happens when my NEON promo code expires?

NEON will email you a few days before your promotion is about to end to let you know. You just need to make sure you’ve opted in to receive emails so we can remind you when your promo offer is coming to an end.

Also, when you’re on the last month of your promo offer, you’ll be able to see when your promo is coming to an end in your ‘My Accounts’ page. After it expires you’ll get the option to renew to a paid subscription. If you don't choose to renew and move to a paid subscription your NEON service will end and you won't be charged anything.

  1. What does it cost to use NEON after the promo code expires?

After your promo code, it's only $20.00NZD per month to keep exploring.

  1. How do I check when my NEON promo code expires?

NEON will email you a few days before your promotion is about to end to let you know. You just need to make sure you’ve opted in to receive emails so they can remind you when your promo offer is coming to an end.

NEON is currently available to watch on your computer through neontv.co.nz as well as through downloadable apps for your iPad, iPhone and selected Android devices.

To get NEON on your big screen there's an app available for Samsung Smart TVs*, an Xbox 360 app, Chromecast and AirPlay support or you can connect to your TV via an HDMI cable.

  1. Do I need Sky TV to use NEON content?

No, NEON is a service that uses your Broadband Data and Home Phone pack, there is no need for either a SKY or Vodafone decoder.

  1. Can I keep my NEON promo if I leave Vodafone?

We reserve the right to cancel NEON promotional subscriptions if you leave Vodafone or change to an in-eligible mobile plan.
