Smartpass Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Information published by Vodafone New Zealand Limited ("Vodafone") on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid. By entering the competition you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  2. Entry is open to residents of New Zealand that are 18 years of age or over. ("Eligible Entrant").
  3. The promotion commences on 16th December 2013 and closes 20th December at 12 midday (NZ Time) ("Promotion Period").
  4. The total prize package consists of the following;
    1. Two general admission tickets plus two VIP upgrade tickets to Rhythm and Vines Festival 2013 (29th December 2013 – 1st January 2014)
    2. Accommodation is for two people in Gisborne from the 29th December – 2nd January 2014. (5 nights)
    3. One Samsung Galaxy S3 mini
    4. $200.00 credit to spend via the Smartpass system / App in the Vodafone Vintage Club. 
  5. To enter, post #RnVBuzz and one initiative that Vodafone are doing onsite at Rhythm and Vines to help festival goers “do their music thing better”.
  6. Entry is limited to one per Eligible Entrant.
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to making multiple entries or for submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  8. This competition winner will be chosen on 20th December 2013.  If the winner is under 18 years old, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian. The winner will be notified on their Facebook page. If three reasonable attempts to contact the winner have been made within three days after the draw and the winner is still unavailable, the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be randomly chosen.
  9. By entering the competition you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  10. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their likeness, image and/or Facebook post in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  11. Prize is not transferable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise stipulated.
  12. Any stated prize value is correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes.
  13. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  14. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
  15. Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. The winner should look to the festival promoter for rules and regulations for ticket purchase. However, these terms and conditions do not exclude or limit the application of any statutory provision (including a provision of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 [NZ]) where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void.
  17. Vodafone reserves the right to extend, cancel or amend this promotion at any time.
  18. All entries become the property of Vodafone. By entering this competition you give Vodafone consent to use your quote for any purpose whatsoever, without limitation or remuneration. 
  19. Winners are responsible for all other costs relating redeeming this prize, including, but not limited to transport, accommodation, food and beverage at each of these “Festivals”.
  20. Prize is not transferable and cannot be taken as cash.
