Vodafone Rewards General Terms
Please note that as of 27 September 2018 we have updated our Vodafone Rewards terms (previously “Fantastic Fridays” terms). Vodafone’s “Vodafone Rewards” scheme provides various prizes, discounts, vouchers, and other benefits (“Offers”) on some of our plans. Specific terms for each current Offer are listed at the bottom of this page. Subject to those, the following general terms also apply:
1) Vodafone may extend, cancel or amend an Offer at any time at its sole discretion.
2) You cannot transfer any Offers you receive to others, or exchange Offers for cash or other benefits.
3) All Vodafone customers and Vodafone employees can receive Vodafone Rewards Offers. If you are under 18 years of age, we reserve the right to award any Offers you receive to your parent or guardian.
4) For Offers which provide access to experiences or events, or where any third party is involved in providing the Offers (“Third Party”):
a) Your use of the Offers is subject to any Third Party’s terms that may apply, including restrictions on access to venues. You agree that Vodafone and any Third Party are not responsible for: any refused entry, cancellations or changes to any events; lost, stolen or damaged tickets or vouchers; incorrectly completed, lost, delayed or unprocessed online purchases; or the validity of any tickets or vouchers.
b) Any tickets or vouchers are subject to limited availability and will be provided on a first come first served basis. Tickets and vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred or sold without the prior written consent of Vodafone or any relevant Third Party. It is your responsibility to ensure that tickets or vouchers are used before any specified expiry date.
c) Any expenses (including travel, accommodation, food and beverage and any other costs) incurred in relation to accepting or using the Offer is the responsibility of the winner and any guests.
d) Any guests that accompany you to events will be deemed to have accepted these terms. Customers under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the events by a parent or guardian.
5) The following terms apply to any competitions or prize draws or other similar promotions with specific entry requirements:
a) Only one application is permitted per person per Offer. Entry is open to Vodafone customers and Vodafone employees, but excluding: (1) anyone aged 15 or under; and (2) anyone professionally connected with any Offers.
b) Winners of prizes will be notified by TXT, or using any other contact details you give us. If we have made a reasonable attempt to contact a winner, and the winner has not responded within 24 hours, or the winner is unable to use the prize, the prize will be forfeited and Vodafone will randomly choose another winner. In the event of any dispute, Vodafone’s decision is final.
c) All rights in any entries and materials provided to us through participation in Vodafone Rewards become our property. By participating you agree to participate in any publicity related to the Offer, and that Vodafone can use your likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording) in any media for an unlimited period of time without payment, to promote Vodafone Rewards and any of its other products.
6) For any Offers involving movie ticket or movie voucher purchases:
your purchase will appear on your statement as a debit from Event Cinemas or ‘Vodafone Movies Promo’ for independent cinemas; and
at independent cinemas, only Visa and MasterCard credit card payments will be accepted, and a 2.95% credit card fee will apply.
8) Vodafone (and any relevant Third Party) makes no guarantee as to the quality and/or availability of the Offers, and is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using an Offer, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Rewards Offer terms
When you join an eligible prepay plan it may take up to 14 days before your first Rewards Prepay Deals (“Deals”) are ready. Vodafone iPad, Motormouth, Prepay Anytime, Prepay Nights & Weekends, Prepay Mobile Broadband, NZ Travel SIM and Supa Prepay are not eligible for Prepay Deals.
Deals will be available to review and purchase from 00.01am on each Friday until 23.59 pm on the following Thursday (“eligible purchase period”) in the My Vodafone app, online in My Vodafone.
Each Deal, once redeemed, will be available to be used from the date of purchase for a period specified in the offer (e.g. 7 days, 30 days).
If you use up all the entitlements in your Deal before the end of the eligible purchase period you will be unable to purchase the Deal again. No Rewards Prepay Deal will auto renew.
Any data, minutes, or texts obtained through Rewards Prepay Deals will be used before your standard Prepay plan.
Movie Offer Terms (rewards.vodafone.co.nz)
Terms & Conditions
The Promoter is Vodafone New Zealand Limited, Vodafone New Zealand Limited, 74 Tarahoto Road, Takapuna, Auckland 0622, New Zealand (“Promoter”).
For EVENT Cinemas, the promotion is administered by EVENT Cinemas Limited (company number 498212), with a registered office at Level 1, 123 Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland , New Zealand (“EVENT”).
For independent cinemas, the promotion is administered by Rapport Group Limited (company number 6781753), 597 New North Rd, Kingsland, Auckland 1021 (“Rapport”).
All correspondence regarding Offers for EVENT Cinemas or independent cinemas should be directed: (1) Rapport on 0800 102 902, email@example.com or the address for Rapport detailed above.
These offers are available to employees of the Promoter or its subsidiaries, Rapport or agencies appointed by Rapport and their immediate families.
To qualify for any of the Movie Offers customers must be an existing Vodafone customer at the time of purchasing the tickets, e-vouchers or food and beverages comprising the Movie Offer.
The Movie Offers are open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over.
All prices listed on this site are in New Zealand Dollars.
The terms of this promotion are as stated here and no other representations (written or oral) shall apply.
EVENT Movie Tickets (“EVENT Movie Offer”)
EVENT’s standard terms and conditions which apply to all online movie ticket purchases from time to time shall apply to all tickets purchased as part of this EVENT Movie Offer. These are available here: https://www.eventcinemas.co.nz/terms
Tickets can only be purchased as part of this EVENT Movie Offer at https://rewards.vodafone.co.nz via your My Vodafone log-in, or via the My Vodafone app, each of which will link to the EVENT Cinemas website. My Vodafone will establish your eligibility to obtain this EVENT Movie Offer for the purposes of the EVENT Cinemas website.
This EVENT Movie Offer entitles Vodafone customers and Vodafone employees to purchase:
up to 10 adult standard admission tickets in a single transaction for:
Peak tickets: $14 each (including booking fees and GST) to be used at EVENT cinemas after 5.00pm on Friday and Saturday evenings and on public holidays; and
“Family” tickets (tickets for 2 adults and 2 children, or 1 adult and 3 children) for $36 each (including booking fees and GST) to be used at EVENT Cinemas any time other than after 5.00pm on Friday and Saturday evenings and on public holidays. For the avoidance of doubt, to be eligible for a children’s ticket you must be aged 3 years to 13 years.
This EVENT Movie Offer entitles Vodafone customers and Vodafone employees to purchase tickets for use at Rialto Cinemas. EVENT Cinemas IMAX, Vmax and 3D sessions by paying the then applicable associated surcharge which is payable by all customers on the EVENT Cinemas website.
Unless specified otherwise in a particular Offer:
tickets for Gold Class, Bollywood, Cinema Asia or Embassy Platinum seating cannot be purchased as part of this EVENT Movie Offer; and
tickets cannot be used for movie sessions designated by EVENT as a “Special Event” on the EVENT Cinemas website.
Movie tickets must be purchased for a particular EVENT Cinema, date, time and session and are supplied by email.
The purchase of tickets as part of this EVENT Movie Offer is strictly subject to availability. Vodafone customers and Vodafone employees will receive no preference over other EVENT customers in purchasing tickets as part of this EVENT Movie Offer.
Tickets purchased as part of this EVENT Movie Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
EVENT Food and Beverages (“EVENT Candy Bar Offers”)
These EVENT Candy Bar Offers entitle Vodafone customers and Vodafone employees who purchase:
a ticket or tickets as part of an EVENT Movie Offer, to purchase a “Family Combo” of two regular popcorn and four small drinks for $25 (including GST) in association with the ticket purchase; and
a Family Combo in association with their EVENT Movie Offer ticket purchase, to purchase four choc tops for an additional $16 (including GST) in association with the ticket and Family Combo purchase; and
a ticket or tickets as part of an EVENT Movie Offer, to purchase a “Couple Combo” of one jumbo popcorn and two regular drinks for $15 (including GST) in association with the ticket purchase.
A ticket or tickets as part of an EVENT Movie Offer, to purchase a Regular combo of a regular popcorn and drink are entitled to be upgraded to a Jumbo combo of a jumbo popcorn and drink.
Food and beverages can only be purchased as part of these EVENT Candy Bar Offers via your My Vodafone login which will link to the EVENT Cinemas website. My Vodafone will establish your eligibility to obtain these EVENT Candy Bar Offers for the purposes of the EVENT Cinemas website
These EVENT Candy Bar Offers are not available at Rialto Cinemas.
Food and beverages purchased as part of these EVENT Candy Bar Offers cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
Independent e-Vouchers (“Independent Movie Offer”)
This Independent Movie Offer entitles Vodafone customers and Vodafone employees to purchase up to 10 adult standard admission movie ticket e-vouchers (“e-Vouchers”) for a total of $11.00 each at any of the participating independent cinemas ($10.68 plus a credit card fee of 2.95%).
Customers must choose their preferred cinema at https://rewards.vodafone.co.nz or using their My Vodafone app. E-Vouchers are supplied by email for use at the cinema the customer selected. These are not transferrable for use at another cinema, even if it participates in the programme.
The e-Vouchers must be exchanged at the Box Office for a ticket, and are redeemable for one standard adult general admission ticket.
Customers that purchase the Independent Movie Offer will be sent up to 10 Movie e-Vouchers to their nominated email address. These e-Vouchers are valid until the date printed on the voucher or for a maximum of eight months from the date of purchase. These must be presented at a participating cinema and exchanged for a ticket.
e-Vouchers must be presented at a participating cinema and possession of an e-Voucher does not guarantee or reserve a seat - seating is subject to availability.
Please note that due to advance booking policies the film or performance you wish to attend may be sold out and seats might not be available. Use of the e-Vouchers is subject to availability and may be limited during public and school holidays.
e-Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other special or offer where the admission value of the special or offer is greater than the value of standard admission ticket.
Neither Vodafone New Zealand Limited or Rapport is liable for any loss suffered by Customers when using the e-Vouchers.
Payments, returns and refunds for Independent Movie Offers
Only Visa and MasterCard payments will be accepted. Your purchase will appear on your statement as a debit from Vodafone Movies Promo.
Once e-Vouchers are purchased they are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No change given.
It is the responsibility of the Vodafone customer to use the e-Voucher before the specified expiry date. The e-Voucher has been sold with the understanding that the e-Vouchers will not be extended or replaced.
Neither the Rapport, nor its agents or distributors accepts liability for lost, stolen or damaged e-Vouchers. In the event that loss occurs the customer will need to purchase a new voucher.
Neither Rapport, its agents or distributors will in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the purchaser or other bearer, or accept any liability for (a) any non-acceptance by a venue of the e-Vouchers or (b) any inability by the bearer to use the e-Vouchers properly or at all or (c) the contents, accuracy or use of either the e-Vouchers or the venue listing, nor will any of them be liable for any personal loss or injury occurring at the venue.
e-Vouchers cannot be transferred or sold without the prior written consent of participating cinemas.
Independent Cinemas terms and conditions
Film classification rules apply. ID may be required.
Entry to one of the participating cinemas is subject to the terms and conditions of that cinema. Any dispute to those terms and conditions need to be raised directly with the cinema.
Neither the Promoter, Rapport, nor its agents and distributors guarantees the quality and/or availability of the services offered by the venues and they cannot be held liable for any resulting personal loss or damage. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Any disputes raised by customers pertaining to the use of the e-Vouchers or Candy Bar Offers are strictly between the customers and the participating cinema.
Pricing, terms and conditions and the list of participating cinemas may vary from time to time. You are bound by the conditions applicable on the day of e-Voucher purchase.
Independent Cinemas Candy Bar Offers
From time to time selected independent cinemas may offer Vodafone customers and Vodafone employees in possession of a Vodafone Rewards e-Voucher a special offer at the Candy Bar.
Information on these offers will be provided with the confirmation email you receive after you have paid for your Vodafone Rewards e-Voucher.
These offers will be subject to the terms and conditions listed on the Candy Bar offer information supplied and are only available at the cinemas listed as participating on the Candy Bar offer.
These Candy Bar offers are not transferrable to other cinemas or sessions when you are not using a Vodafone Rewards e-Voucher. These Candy Bar offers are not transferrable to other cinemas or other sessions when you are not using a Vodafone Rewards e-Voucher.
The cinema may choose to change the offer without notice.
