    What is a Wi-Fi channel?

A Wi-Fi channel is like a lane on the road - the less cars in your lane, the closer to the speed limit you can go. When you're on a channel which is not used by many devices it can help you experience:

    • Less disconnections
    • Faster browsing and download speeds

When should I change my Wi-Fi channel?

You should consider changing your Wi-Fi channel when you:

    • Have checked the Wi-Fi Analyser and can see there are a lot of other devices in your area using the same channel
    • Experience slow browsing speeds when using Wi-Fi but normal speeds when connected using an Ethernet cable
    • Have a poor Wi-Fi signal
