Connect to a hard drive or printer to your modem

This article covers how to connect a USB printer or hard drive to a modem we supplied via USB, so you can print from any device connected to your Wi-Fi or access your files on that hard drive.

The DN8245 modem is not able to have a USB printer or hard drive connected. 

Access a hard drive over Wi-Fi

This will provide fast and wireless access to your files and content on that drive.

Ultra Hub and Ultra Hub Plus

Wireless modem (HG659)
For detailed information of how to set up your external hard drive please have a look at Connect USB devices section in this FAQ . Please note there is only support for FAT32/FAT or NTFS-formatted drives.

Vodafone Station modem
For detailed information of how to set up your external hard drive please have a look at section 4.2 of the Vodafone Station User Manual . Please note there is only support for up to 2 TB (TeraByte) drive.
