Health and life insurance
As a permanent employee of Vodafone, you’ll be eligible for fully-subsidised (that’s right, nothing to pay!) Southern Cross health insurance. The cover supplied is Regular Care and it applies to you and your immediate family. Permanent employees who work more than 15 hours a week also get life cover and total and permanent disablement cover for two times their base salary.
Paid parental leave
Vodafone’s Phased Return to Work scheme gives new parents the flexibility to spend more time with their baby (or babies!). In addition to this, Vodafone adds to the government's paid parental leave entitlement of 22 weeks to top you up to 100% of your normal earning. Because we’re at our best when you’re at yours! We also offer two weeks of paid paternity/partner’s leave to our employees supporting their partner in those first weeks.
To help stop the spread of influenza, everyone at Vodafone is offered a free flu shot once a year. It won’t hurt (well maybe just a bit) and it could save you a lot of pain and snuffling.
