Vodafone Wholesale offers a co-location service that allows other network operators to put their equipment on our towers. This is a great way of sharing the costs of building a network and increasing the level of competition in the market place. Vodafone offers a mobile co-location service and a rural co-location service.
Vodafone operates a mobile co-location service under the Commerce Commissions Standard Terms Determination.
This service enables access seekers to co-locate equipment on Vodafone cell sites within our mobile network.
There are some pre-requisites that need to be met to become an access seeker with us.
If you'd like more information about becoming an access seeker please contact us.
As part of the Wholesale RBI service, Vodafone will be offering an RBI co-location service. Co-location allows other mobile, Wi-Fi or Wimax network operators to put their equipment on our rural towers.
As the RBI towers are government-funded assets, our pricing is on a shared cost basis and is substantially lower than the regulated mobile co-location service.
