Wholesale is the business of selling network capacity and services to other Service Providers.
We provide wholesale services to mobile partners (virtual mobile network operators or MVNOs) such as Black+White, M2 and Compass Communications. These MVNOs don't operate their own network but instead lease capacity on Vodafone's mobile network to on sell to their customers.
Vodafone Wholesale also manages Vodafone's co-location service. Co-location allows other mobile network operators to put their equipment on our towers. This is a great way of sharing the costs of building a network and increasing the level of competition in the market place.
Our new Wholesale team also sells Vodafone's newest network – the Red Network, Vodafone's fixed-line network.
Currently the Red Network covers 40 exchanges in Auckland and we sell capacity on the Red Network to other service providers.
Vodafone is currently assessing other towns and cities for future expansion of the Red Network.

Steve has been with Vodafone for six years most recently as Vodafones GM of Northern Region Sales. With a passion for supporting his customers businesses, Steve's philosophy is one of rolling up his sleeves and getting on with business.
Kay has worked in almost every department within Vodafone except for HR and marketing during her decade-long tenure here. As operations manager, Kay brings a wealth of experience and a determination to champion her customers' needs within the business.
With 12 years' experience in product management and marketing both at home and overseas, Andrew brings his expertise to bear on both mobile and fixed line wholesale markets.
Paul has more than 12 years of domestic and international wholesale and interconnect experience. He is excited about Vodafone's entry into the Wholesale market and keen to see the business grow.
Despite having left Vodafone for greener pastures, Craig came back, bringing with him 13 years experience in interconnect, wholesale and finance. With his understanding of life inside ISPs as well as network providers, Craig brings a valuable insight into the customers world.
With a background in IT, Jo has worked for a number of international corporates in a variety of customer support roles. After three years with Vodafone, Jo has recently joined the Wholesale team as service delivery manager, a role which involves liaising between Vodafone and its Wholesale customers.
