Calling overseas from your Vodafone mobile?

Calling a landline?

Just dial '+' or '00', followed by the country code, the city code (minus the first zero) and their local number.

Calling a mobile?

Just dial '+' or '00', followed by the country code, the mobile network code (minus the first zero) and then the mobile number.

Note: You can use '+' or '00'. But, as most international operators and networks recognise the '+', we recommend dialling this way and using this format when entering numbers into your address book. So that, even when you're overseas yourself, your numbers will always connect.

TXTing overseas?

Just enter '+' or '00', followed by the country code, the mobile network code (minus the first zero) and then the mobile number.

Receiving a TXT is always free (except when roaming).

Video calling overseas?

Just enter '+' or '00', followed by the country code, the mobile network code (minus the first zero) and then the mobile number. Then press the video call button and watch your screen.

You'll know you're within Vodafone 3G coverage, because your mobile will show a little 3G symbol.

The person you are calling will need to be on one of the networks listed.
