Important things to know about Prepay Smart

  • These Add-Ons are only available with Prepay Smart
  • You can only have one Add-On at a time
  • Add-Ons last 1 calendar month and renew until cancelled

 

More important things to know about Prepay Smart

  • If you use your allowance of calls, TXTs within the calendar month standard Prepay Smart rates of 49c per minute for calls and/or 12c per TXT will apply to any additional usage. If you use all the data in your Add-On you will pay 20c per MB for any additional data used until your Add-On renews.
  • To check your Add-On balance sign in to My Account or free TXT My Add-Ons to 756.
  • To cancel your Add-On go to My Account or free TXT Cancel and your Add-On name to 756 e.g. cancel Smart25.
  • If you switch back to Supa Prepay, a charge of $5 will be incurred and you won’t take your bundle with you.
  • Prepay Smart is not a suitable plan for Vodafone Family.
  • You can only use your Prepay Smart Add-On from within New Zealand and standard prepay roaming rates will apply when abroad. You can use your Add-On anytime. Minutes are to any NZ mobile or landline and TXTs to any NZ mobile. Premium numbers excluded.
  • For charging purposes, Prepay Smart calls are rounded up to the next minute. For example, if your call is 1 minute and 40 seconds, your Prepay Smart Add-On will reduce by two minutes.
  • Calls made using any of the following services will be charged at the usual rates, and deducted from the customer’s Prepay balance:
    • International numbers;
    • Special or premium numbers (e.g. 0900);
    • Voice services (e.g. 018, voicemail);
    • Data calls and usage;
    • Video calling;
    • Roaming services.
  • If NZBestMate is included with your bundle, you will need to nominate an NZ mobile or landline as your NZBestMate. You will have up to 1000 minutes & 1000 TXTs to use contacting your NZBestMate each month. Please note, if you nominate a landline as your NZBestMate you will not be able to use your TXT allocation.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the NZBestMate number you nominate. If you want to change your NZBestMate for any reason, you will be charged a fee.
  • You can only have 1 Prepay Smart Add-On at a time which lasts 1 month even if you finish your allowance within the month.
  • Order of use: BestMate; remaining TopUp Bonus if carried over from Supa Prepay; Bundle mins; Price plan.
  • Prepay Smart Add-On is charged at the time of subscription and renews every calendar month, if sufficient Prepay Smart balance is available on the renewal date or until it is cancelled. You can cancel your Add-On via My Account or by free TXTing Cancel Add-On name to 756 e.g. cancel Smart35.
  • If you have insufficient balance on the renewal date and your Add-On fails to renew, the Add-On will go on hold for up to 14 days from the date the Add-On was to renew. You cannot use the Add-On, or alter the Add-On in any other way, while the Add-On is on hold. You can cancel the Add-On while it is on hold.
  • If you top up while the Add-On is on hold, it will be automatically reactivated and the price will be deducted from your Prepay balance, provided you top up enough to cover any outstanding IOUs. If you do not make a top up within 14 days that is sufficient to reactivate your on hold Add-On, your Add-On will be removed from your Prepay, and you’ll need to buy the Add-On again. Standard Prepay Smart rates will apply if your Add-On is on hold or cancelled.
