Buy an NZBestMate Add-On for your plan

You can buy up to 3 NZBestMate Add-Ons with any Smart Data, Business Smart or Business Smart Data plan. To buy NZBestMates and get them set up, sign in to My Account or call 777; 888 for business plans.

Important things to know

  • You can have up to 3 NZBestMate Add-Ons on Smart plans.
  • NZBestMate is only available with Smart plans (bought after 25th August 2011), Business Smart and Business Smart Data plans.
  • Not available on retired plans
  • Your nominated NZBestMate can be any NZ mobile or landline. It cannot be an international, 0900 or special number (such as 123 or 018).
  • You can only nominate a mobile or landline number once, i.e. you can’t nominate a number as both a BestMate and an NZBestMate.
  • If you have more than one NZBestMate, how you use those minutes and TXTs across your NZBestMates is up to you. For example, if you have 3 NZBestMates you could use 2000 minutes to one NZBestMate and 500 to each of the others.
  • If you use up all of your NZBestMate minutes or TXTs within the month, further usage will be deducted from the minutes and TXTs included in your plan. If they are also all used up then the standard out-of-bundle charges on your plan will apply.
