iPhone Software Update

Apple has released a new iPhone 3.1 software update as a free download .
The free iPhone OS 3.1 Software Update includes some great new features, as well as all the features from previous updates.
Connect your iPhone to iTunes and click on 'Check for Updates'.

Setting up your iPhone

Now that you've got your new iPhone you'll need to activate and register it.

1. Insert the provided SIM card into your iPhone
2. Connect your iPhone to a USB 2.0 port on your Mac or PC using the dock and cable that came with your iPhone
3. Download and install the latest version of iTunes onto your Mac or PC from www.apple.com/itunes
4. Once connected as above, your iPhone user interface opens up and your iPhone becomes fully functional. .
