Manage your Prepay or On Account mobile services, when and where it suits you with our self service options. From My account online, to our free TXT balance check, and automated touchtone phone services, check out how to do it all below.
Recharge voucher and credit card are just two of the easy
ways to top up with Vodafone.
Here's how:
Credit Card on My account
To top
up by credit card using My account, just login and hit Top Up Now.
Credit Card or Recharge Voucher Through 777
Dial 777 and select option 2 from the main menu to get to our top ups section,
Recharge Voucher by TXT
To top
up by TXT, simply TXT your recharge voucher number to 887.
There are many ways of topping up, like Westpac Telephone Banking, using your local ATM, visiting a Vodafone Store or in person at NZ post.
Your Prepay Smart Add-Ons last 1 calendar month and renew until cancelled. You can cancel your Add-On anytime from My Account or by freeTXTing cancel <Add-On name> e.g. FreeTXT cancel Smart25 to 756. Once cancelled your Add-On will be removed from your account when it was due to renew.
To check your Prepay Smart Add-On balance sign in to My Account or freeTXT My Add-Ons to 756.
To check your Freebee bonus balance sign in to My Account or freeTXT Freebee to 756.
You can purchase and manage your Add-Ons easily by logging into My account and clicking Manage your Add-Ons.
To set up an Add-On by TXT, you can simply TXT 'BUY', space, and the code of the Add-On you want to purchase to 756. Our Add-On codes are:
For example, if you wanted to buy TXT5000, then you'd send 'BUY TXT5000' to 756.
As well as setting up your Add-Ons by TXT, you can also
manage your Add-Ons.
For a full list of codes you can
use, TXT 'help' to 756.
TXT aren't case sensitive, so you can request your Add-On in lower, or upper case, and don't forget if you're setting up BestMate 1000 to also set up your BestMate number!
Another way of managing your Add-Ons is through 777. Simply call 777 from your Vodafone Mobile, press 3 for our Manage and Buy Add-ons section, then follow the voice prompts.
You can check your account balance, last top up date and your credit expiry date online by logging into My account - it's all there on your home page!
If you're not near a PC, you can TXT 'bal' to 777, or call 777 from your Vodafone Mobile, press option 1 to listen to your balance
If you're not already on SupaPrepay, then it's easy to change your plan! Just login to My account, click on Manage Your Account, then click on My Plan and Change my Plan.
To change to SupaPrepay by TXT, simply TXT 'SupaPrepay' to 756. Or, to change through 777, dial 777 from your vodafone mobile, press option 4 for products & services, then option 2 for Prepay Pricing Plans.

Did you know that when you run out of credit we can give you an IOU? Just TXT 'IOU' to 468 and we'll instantly flick you a $5 credit.

When a SIM card's security PIN is entered incorrectly 3 times the SIM card is blocked and the handset's screen will show Enter PUK or a similar message (depending on the type of handset). To unblock the SIM card, the Personal Unblocking Key (PUK) must be entered.
You can find your PUK code in your SIM pack, but if you don't have this any more, you can simply login to My Account, select Manage Your Account , then My Mobile Settings.
Alternatively, you can dial 0800 800 021 from a landline and enter your mobile number and PIN when prompted to take you to the main menu. Then, select option 4 for the products and services menu, and option 3 to retrieve your PUK code.
Remember, the PUK code is individual to each SIM card and entering the incorrect PUK code more than 3 times can permanently block your SIM, so if you have more than one account set up in My Account, make sure you select the correct one!
If you're on you choose then it's easy to manage your Add-Ons, simply by logging into My account, clicking on the mobile number you want to view in the Your Favourites box (if you have more than one), then selecting Your plan and Add-Ons in the Your Account box. From there, you can view and change your current Add-Ons, or click on the Buy Add-Ons link to add more!
Please note, customers on Talker, TXTer or Mega plans are currently unable to manage their Add-Ons through My account and will need to contact customer service for assistance with managing Add-Ons.
You can check what plan you're on and the Add-Ons you have by checking your bill, or simply log in to My account, click on the mobile number you want to check (if you have more than one) and select Your plan and Add-Ons.
You can check your account balance online by logging into My account and clicking on the mobile number you want to view in the Your Favourites box (if you have more than one!). You can check your Add-Ons balance, by clicking on Your plans and Add-Ons.
If you're not near a PC, you can TXT 'bal' to 777, or call 777 from your Vodafone Mobile, press option 1 for account information, then option 1 again to listen to your remaining minutes balance or option 2 for your account balance.
If you don't want to receive a paper bill each month, then you can register for Online Billing instead, by logging into My accountand clicking on switch to online billing. Once registered, you'll stop receiving paper bills and instead you'll get a monthly TXT and/or email notification to advise when your mobile bill is ready to view online.
All customers, whether they are on paper billing or online billing can view their last 13 months history online.
To view your current bill online, login to My acccount , click on the account you want to view the bill history for (if you've got more than one!) and then click on Billing and Usage.
To view older bills, once you're in Billing and Usage, click on View Older Bills. To open a bill, just click on the purple arrow next to it.
One of the easiest ways to pay your bill is with your credit card online through My account or in our 777 IVR.
To pay your bill online, simply login to My account, click on the billing account you want to pay (if you have more than one!), then select Billing and Usage followed by make a payment.
To pay through our IVR, simply dial 777 from your Vodafone mobile, select option 1 for account information, then option 4 for credit card payments.

It's easy to keep track of your Vodafone payments, simply login to My account, select the account you want to view payment information for (if you have more than one!) and select Manage Your Account. You'll see a list of accounts that you have access to, so pick the one you want, click on view account transactions and select payments from the transaction type drop down box.
Global roaming lets you use your Vodafone mobile in just about any country in the world – but if you don't already have Global Roaming you must add it before you travel!
To add global roaming to your account, just login to My account, click on the number you want to add Roaming to (if you have more than one!) and select Manage Your Account. You'll see a list of accounts that you have access to so pick the one you want, click add global roaming then submit.
With standard roaming, calling prices vary depending on the country you're in and the network you're on. To view specific information on your destination please click on the information link below and be sure to check back in each time you roam so you have the most up to date pricing.
If you're on You Choose, Motormouth, Talkzone, or a Corporate plan, why not add Vodafone Traveller to your account? Vodafone Traveller is a great zoned-based roaming pricing system which splits the world into 4 zones. Each zone has fixed calling prices giving you both you cost certainty and great savings. You can add traveller to your account like any other Add-On through My account.

Vodafone's Interactive Voice Response (IVR) service is an automated system which directs your call based on your instructions.
