A regular payment from your bank account or credit card is a simple, safe and convenient way to pay your bill. Once it's set up, your monthly bill will be paid automatically on the due date.

Looking for how to pay your family or friend's bill?

Allow up to 2 working days for the payment to appear on your account.

Note: One-off credit and debit card payments will be charged a 2% convenience fee. Vodafone will consider a credit/debit card payment to be 'one off' if it's not set up as an automatic, recurring monthly payment (even if your credit or debit card details are pre-registered).

To avoid this fee you can set up a regular payment from your bank or credit card.

Pay your bill with internet banking

You can choose this payment option if you want to make a one-off payment. Simply sign in to your bank's website and follow the prompts on your screen.

Make a payment over the phone

Paying over the phone is quick and easy - all you need is a Visa, Visa Debit card, American Express card or a MasterCard. You can also use these payment options to make a one-off payment.

How do I make a payment?

Pay a bill over the phone using IVR

Call your bank: We're set up on all major New Zealand bank systems. Simply follow the voice prompts on your banking system.

Allow a minimum of 2 working days for the payment to appear on your account.

Make a payment via cheque

You can choose this payment option if you want to post us your payment.

How do I make a payment: Send us a cheque in the envelope provided with your bill. Write your complete Vodafone Account Number, located on the top of your bill, on the back of your cheque and enclose the tear-off payment advice from your bill.

Payment timeframe: Allow up to 5-7 working days for the payment to appear on your account.

New Zealand Post

Looking to pay your bill in person? Take your bill to any of the NZ Post Shop and make your payment by cash, EFTPOS, or cheque.

How do I make a payment: Handover your payment and your current bill to NZ Post Shop. They will process your payment and provide you a receipt.

Payment timeframe: Allow up to 2 working days for the payment to appear on your account.

About Direct Debits

  • It takes 5-10 business days from receipt to set up a Direct Debit request via post or email.
  • Current or overdue balances will need to be paid via an alternative payment method until the direct debit authority takes effect on your bill's due date.
  • Direct Debit payments will occur automatically on the due date and the full invoice amount will be taken.

  • Vodafone is PCI compliant, which means we're able to process, store or transmit credit card information in a secure environment without having to keep your credit card details stored in our system. This is standard banking practice, and complies with the Global Credit Card standard.
