Fibre-based Ultra-Fast Broadband delivers all this and much more. It’s the most exciting technological advancement to happen to New Zealand since the introduction of the mobile phone, and it will benefit every Kiwi.

Right now, fibre is being rolled out across the country. Vodafone will follow the roll out so that we can connect homes and businesses to Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) - giving much faster internet speeds. UFB will allow families to take advantage of this latest technology and do even more online.

“Watching movies online is a completely new experience via fibre from Vodafone, you can say goodbye to buffering video.”

Want to find out more about Fibre Broadband?

By 2019, 75% of New Zealanders will have access to Ultra-Fast Broadband. The government, through Crown Fibre Holdings, has selected four Local Fibre Companies (LFCs) to deliver fibre to the country. Each LFC has designated areas to deliver UFB to - check when your area will be getting fibre.

Once our customer trials have been completed, we will start connecting households and businesses to fibre.
