If you're an On Account customer, now you can enjoy your holiday, or focus on doing business without the hassle of Wi-Fi and local SIMs and with the security of knowing what you're spending.

There's no set-up - you can buy more data any time

  • Buy data bundles and control what you're spending before you go

    Because you choose the data you want at a low, fixed price, you always know what you're spending. We'll TXT you when you've reached 80% of your data allowance and stop you at 100% until you choose to buy more, so there's no chance of returning to unexpected bills.

  • Buy before you fly or when you land

    It's up to you - when you go onto the web at your destination, you'll be re-directed to buy a data bundle. Or, you can buy a bundle up to 30 days before you fly. Simply TXT the code for the data bundle you want to 747.

  • Choose the bundle size that suits you

    There are light, medium and heavy use bundle options, from 5MB to 500MB*. Just take your pick
    *Available in selected zones.

  • Use the same bundle in multiple countries

    You can set one bundle at the start of your trip and keep using it as you travel. between destinations As long as you're travelling within the same zone, you can use your data bundle wherever you go.

  • Top Up anytime

    You can purchase data bundles as and when you need them. At any time during your trip just add a data bundle through 'My Account'.

How it works

Simply TXT the code for the data bundle you want to 747

or...

  • Visit "My Account" at Vodafone.co.nz
  • Go to "My Plan" and select "using data overseas".
  • Click "data roaming bundles".
  • Choose the zone for the country you're going to.

You'll get a text telling you how to buy a Data Angel Overseas bundle. Or, open your web browser and your tablet will automatically take you to our website.

When you've used 80%of your data allowance, we'll let you know you're about to run out. Then when you hit 100%, we'll ask if you'd like to buy a new bundle.

If you've got a tablet and you've used up your bundle, you won't get TXTs but we'll re-direct your web browser to our mobi site so you can choose another one.

Great value data bundles

  1. Check the map to find out which data zone you're travelling to.
  2. Choose the amount of data you need.

What you need to know

  • Only for On Account Customers
  • Only one bundle per zone at any one time
  • Bundles are only valid for countries in that zone
  • Your data roaming bundle will only start once you start using data. You have 30 days from purchase in which to start using data
  • Any data not used within 30 days will be lost
  • Casual data rates are no longer available
  • IPAD users will not receive a welcome TXT or 80% and 100% notifications but your mobile web browser will re-direct you to the page to choose and buy your bundles
  • You cannot buy bundles via TXT if you are on iPad or Corporate APN

What you need to know

  • If you are using email and your data session stops - go to your mobile web browser to be re-directed to the page to buy another bundle.
  • If you do not receive a welcome TXT or your browser does not re-direct check that you have roaming enabled on your device
