Contact Centre Manager – FAB Consumer
Vodafone since: March 1997
Vodafone is a fantastic opportunity for growth, development, challenges and good times.
Being chosen as a Vodafone Legend in 2005 where I went to Vietnam. It was humbling to win an award where I was recognised by Vodafone and peers as a legend. I had never been overseas before, and unsurprisingly I lost my luggage on the flight over, which was good because it gave me a really good excuse to go shopping for new clothes.
In the pursuit of delighting our customers, I lead my team towards an environment of growth, development, and continuous improvement.
The great thing is that Vodafone offers different things for different people. And because I've been here so long it's actually catered for a number of phases in my life
In the early days it was the "having fun stage getting to know more people my age" phase:
Which inevitably lead you to the "get healthier" phase
And now as a solo mum I get to share this aspect of my life also
Maybe in the future I'll "face my fears" and join the toastmasters group
When I was a CSR I was really quiet and unsure of myself. I wanted to be a Team Manager but didn't think I was ready, my manager backed me and put me out there and I've never looked back since.
