We’re proud to be helping towards creating a better future for New Zealand youth. That’s why Vodafone has joined the Starship family in becoming a 5 star sponsor. This sponsorship helps Starship to continue to provide children and youth with the best possible outcomes. Other 5 star sponsors include ASB, Barfoot & Thomson, The Warehouse and Mercury Energy.
Starship’s National Air Ambulance works 24/7 to ensure critically ill children from around New Zealand have fast access to specialist care at Starship Hospital. Over the years the Air Ambulance has helped thousands of Kiwi children just like Gypsea, Matilda and Kempher.
Young Gypsea is a happy toddler but she needed several major surgeries before the age of two and will likely need more.
The Starship Air Ambulance saved her life.

Free Vodafone Wi-Fi has been installed on levels four, five and six of The Starship Hospital. Many of the children on these levels of the hospital have chronic conditions, and some are in isolation due to infectious disease or organ transplantation. Access to free Wi-Fi will allow many of them to keep in touch with their friends and family when they need it most as well as having fun online.
