At the infrastructure level, Vodafone will be competing with DSL (and fibre) for those households that can receive these services. In addition Vodafone will likely be only one of the competitive wireless operators using the new grant-funded towers - for example, it is expected that Telecom XT will co-locate on many new towers, and it will be easy for other operators such as 2 Degrees to join them. Any of these operators will offer retail services over the new infrastructure as will current wholesale providers who are their partners.
Finally, at a wholesale level Vodafone will offer a number of wholesale services that allow Retail Service providers to bundle and offer competitive retail packages as alternatives to those that Vodafone & Telecom offer in their RBI products.
