Alert is a quick and easy way for Vodafone customers to donate money
via their mobile phones, to support people affected by a national
or global natural disaster or emergency.
100% of the money raised is passed on to a selected Red Alert charity partner. The charity partner ensures the funds are used efficiently and effectively to help the people in need.
The first Red Alert appeal run in New Zealand supported the victims of the Christchurch earthquake. Our generous Vodafone customers donated well over $700,000 to the cause and all the money was given to the New Zealand Red Cross.
